Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the elves, though there are a couple that I wish I could have.
Summary: Lord Elrond finds an injured elf alone near his border. Can the love the two share withstand all or will the lessons taught to Anteru and his father keep them apart.

Lord Elrond was riding alone near the edge of the borders of Rivendell. The one guard with him had gone ahead to check for trouble. There were still some men that hated elves and were causing trouble.
Up ahead the guard jumped down off his horse when he spotted a body near some bushes. He ran up to the figure and kneeled down nest to him. He gently turned over the person and saw that it was an elf. It looked like one of the wood elves from way way that he was dressed.
"My Lord come quickly!"
Elrond rode up to him, "What is wrong?"
"I have found a young elf and he is injured."
"Is he conscious?"
"No."
"Hand him up to me. We need to get him back to Rivendell."
The guard lifted the young elf up to Lord Elrond. Elrond settled the boy against his chest. He waited for the guard to get onto his horse and then they headed back toward the city with the guard leading the way. The young elf in his arms looked familiar to him. He looked like Legolas’s younger brother Anteru. Elrond had only met the boy once before because he and Lord Thranduil didn’t get along. That had been thirty years ago. The boy had only gotten more handsome as he aged. The young elf had nice smooth skin, silky blond hair, and piercing blue eyes that were currently hidden behind his lids. It made him hard just thinking about the young elf and how badly he wanted to run his hands over the boy’s body. He had to quickly control himself so that the guard wouldn’t notice.
Anteru began to stir and slowly opened his eyes. He began to panic when he realized that he was on a horse and moving. Lord Elrond tightened his grip slightly so that Anteru would not fall off of the horse.
"Relax Anteru you are safe. I am taking you to Rivendell." Said Elrond.
Anteru looked up into the face above him. He didn’t recognize the elf holding him but he did look familiar, "Who are you?"
"I am Lord Elrond from Rivendell. We found you near the edge of our borders. What happened?"
"I was out hunting with my brother, we got separated and a group of men attacked me."
Elrond nodded, "Just rest. We will be in the city shortly and I will heal your wounds."
Anteru laid his head against Elrond’s chest. He had only met Lord Elrond once before. He liked the elf and knew that he would be safe. When Anteru woke up again he found himself in a bed and his wounds had been treated. Lord Elrond was sitting in the chair beside his bed.
"Good you are awake. How do you feel?"
"Tired and hungry."
Getting up, "I will have some food brought to you. I sent word to your brother that you are here."
"OK."
(He watched Elrond leave. Anteru knew that his father would freak out when he found out where he was. ‘Adar will probably send Legolas here to take me home.’ He thought to himself. Aragorn walked into the room carrying a tray of food.
Setting the tray on the bed, "How are you feeling?"
"Better thanks to your father."
"Adar sent word you your brother."
"I know he told me. Adar is going to freak when he finds out where I am."
