Elrond
walked along the gardens of the castle, Arwen´s wedding was the day after this
one…
Everybody
was busy preparing for the ceremony but he could not help but feel sadness
regarding this union; this union that would doom his child’s destiny for
eternity. The imminent fear of losing his only daughter was finally coming to
pass.
Sighing
softly, the elf Lord moved further away to a cliff over the ocean, letting the
harsh wind tangle his black hair as it wanted before he pushed it to the side
and sat down on the hard rock under him.
Looking
away, he considered Arwen´s destiny once again, as he had done since his
daughter had first shown interest in Estel, and his heart could not help but to
break all over again.
Why was it
that Elbereth was so inequitable to him? After all the loss he had suffered in
his lengthy life, after all the perils he had manage to live though, the Valar
still considered him to be worthy of their testing, giving only to take away
with the passing of the years. First his parents, then Elros,
later Gil Galad, Celebrian… and now Arwen and Elbereth only knows if the twins
were, in the future, going to sail to the west or would end up dying in Middle
Earth as well as their sister…
Why was it
that he always had to lose? Why was it that he always ended up alone? What had
he done that was so bad as to deserve this eternal
punishment?
Looking
over his shoulder, he blinked once before he focused his eyes on the blond
creature. His eyes could not really believe what they. So. So alike, yet not
her…
“I did not
mean to interrupt, my Lord,” Éowyn apologized softly with a respectful bow.
Elrond
could not help but stare at the beautiful maid. Her blond hair was as long as
Celebrian´s had been, long to her waist, the soft locks dancing across the
delicate features made her raise a slender hand to push it away as she tried to
keep her eyes on him, only to reveal more beauty to his eyes.
The slowly
blushing cheeks made the dark haired elf Lord realise he was actually staring.
“I am sorry,” he smiled, blushing slightly as he looked away. “I did not mean
to be rude, is just that you are practically the mirror image of someone I
knew.”
“There is
no need for an apology.” She smiled tenderly at Elrond as she once again pushed
her hair back over her shoulders and off her face. “No offence has been taken,”
she assured sweetly, looking at the dark haired elf before glancing to the
horizon and the sinking sun. “I did not mean to interrupt your rest; I did not
notice somebody was here until I was too close…”
“There is
no problem,” he assured, glancing over his shoulder once again. “You are
welcome to join me if you want to watch the sunset. I assume that was your
intention?”
Smiling
Éowyn nodded slowly. “I have come to watch the sunset for days now and I seem
unable to tire of them,” she murmured, stepping forward to sit by the dark
haired elf, practically at the edge of the cliff.
“One can
never get tired of such beautiful event.” Elrond smiled, offering a hand for
the human lady to sit by him, who smiled shyly back at him and took it
hesitantly as she sat.
“Thank
you,” she whispered blushing slightly, and then even more at Elrond’s polite
nod and tender smile. “I find the sunset soothing and refreshing, even more
than the sunrise…I do not quite know why, but the rising moon is something I
have always felt attracted to.”
“I would
rather watch the sunset as well, the moon and the stars twinkling in the dark
sky is something that has cost me many hours of sleep. I always get distracted
by them, no matter what I might be doing; I always end up staring absently at
the sky.”
“They do
offer us a wonderful view,” she agreed, nodding slowly as her eyes focused on
the setting sun behind the imaginary line of the horizon across the sea water.
“Indeed,
they do,” he murmured, distracted by the same enthralling image, and for some
minutes they remained quiet, just comfortable in the other’s presence before
his eyes glanced to her side again. “You are cold,” he realized out loud at the
slight shivers running along the maid’s body.
“I am
alright…” Éowyn assured with a polite smile, not wanting to leave the place
just yet, even if she could not quite control the shivers, never having had
company up there before and enjoying the elf’s silent presence more than she
had thought she would. Perhaps, it was just this elf… “Thank you,” she smiled,
blushing slightly again as Elrond placed his robe above her shoulders, tugging
the warm soft fabric with her hands gently she closed it as much as she could
over her breasts, this part of her body being more exposed to the cold air of
the ocean night. “You will be the one being cold now,” she complained softly,
her concern for him making Elrond smile.
“I will be
fine,” he assured with amusement, looking into Éowyn´s blue eyes and once again
wondering, how this maid could be the vivid image of his wife.
“Who do I
remind you of?” she asked softly, easily drawing Elrond’s attention back to her
even before she placed part of the robe around Elrond’s shoulder as she sat
close to the elf Lord, st cst cuddling up to the warm body which tensed
instantly before it started to relax again.
“You mentioned I reminded you of someone…Better…” She smiled up at the
dark haired elf as she noticed the faint shivers of the other’s body cease.
Nodding
slowly, the dark haired elf’s eyes went back to the calm water under them, and
the rising moon, which slowly was making its way to the sky. “My wife,” he
replied, but in a soft whisper almost taken away from her perception by the
ocean wind.
“You do not
wear a ring,” Éowyn pondered out loud, making the dark haired elf arch an
inquiring eyebrow in amusement as he shifted his head to look at her, whilst
she blushed as red as an apple. “I am, I tend to
notice details… visual memory I believe it is called.” She smiled shyly,
blushing to a new tonality of pink under the elf Lord’s scrutiny.
Elrond smirked, rather proud of the blush he was causing on the
young maid’s pale cheeks and nodded. “My wife sailed to the Grey Havens many
years ago now, and I stopped wearing the ring after she sailed. There came a
time when it only reminded me I was alone instead of helping me remember the
happy moments we spent together before she had to go,” he explained quietly,
looking carefully at the maid’s beautiful features before his finger reached to
push a stray braid of blond hair off her face. “She was attacked by orcs, and
even though we managed to heal her physical wounds, we could do practically
nothing regarding the mental pain and fear she was living with after the
incident. She sailed to the Havens hoping to find the peace she could not find
here… It was the only thing that she could have done, she would have died if
not,” he explained, after having noticed the curiosity in those lovely, young
blue eyes.
“You must
miss her terribly,” she whispered, lost in the enthralling grey eyes, not even
noticing his fingers had lingered on her cheek and were now stroking the smooth
snow-white like skin effortlessly with a gentle thumb.
“I do,
sometimes…” He nodded in a captivated state that he had not found himself in
for many years. “She, is … long gone and I have somehow gotten used to being
alone…”
“You do not
have to be alone,” she murmured, pressing her body closer. “I mean… you have
friends and your sons …and…” She cut her self off in the middle of her speech
as she realised she would only upset Elrond even more.
“I am about
to lose my only daughter,” he finished the sentence for her. “My sons will most
likely suffer the same fate she has chosen and I will pass to the west to find
my wife who I have not seen in over five hundred years now…” He sighed softly,
breaking the enthralling stare and looking down only to find the cleavage of
her dress before his eyes politely settled on the waves beneath the cliff
again.
Sighing
softly, she placed a tender hand over Elrond’s, letting her fingers stroke the
cold hand soothingly. “That must be one of the worst disadvantages of immortal
people, losing the ones they love,” she reasoned out-loud. “You have to live
with their memory for the rest of eternity…”
Elrond
nodded and glanced at her again, finding the sweet face to be soothing enough
to want to lost himself in her lovely innocent features forever. “There are
days, you do not think about it and there are days you only remember you are
alone… I do not think I have ever, in my entire life seen a maid as fair as
yourself…” he babbled absently, pushing away the urge to tangle his fingers in
the blond wavy hair.
Smiling,
she blushed a little and, leaning forward, she closed
the distance between their lips, gently kissing the elf Lord.
Elrond’s
lips parted as his mind successfully worked to push the surprise away and
allowed himself become lost in the sensations the soft hesitant kiss was
causing in his entire body, waking it swiftly, and making him feel warm and
alive again. His arms slowly wrapped along the slim waist, urging the young
maid closer to him, pressing her body as much as possible against his own as a
small moan of pleasure fell from his lips.
“I can not
keep you company for the rest of your life nor will I be able to sail with you
when the time comes, but today, right now… You do not have to be alone…” she
whispered to the parted lips meeting the grey eyes with her blue ones.
“I will end
up hurting y Elr Elrond babbled, finding it difficult to keep the awfully short
distance between their lips. “You…”
“I will die
someday, you won’t…” she reminded softly, assuring him in someway she was going
to be alright after this and that there was more than one reason for what was
about to happen being the way it was.
“Then why?
We should not…” the elf Lord fought reluctantly for the words to come out.
“Why?
Besides the fact, that we are attracted to each other? Besides
the fact that I can ease the pain in your heart if not, for more than a few
minutes? And you, the pain in my own?” Éowyn asked, letting her lips
linger before Elrond’s, brushing teasingly as she spoke. “Besides that, I only
know my body craves for ytouctouch, as it had never before in my entire life…”
Growling
softly, the elf Lord leaned forward, covering her lips in a hungry kiss. Never
in his entire life had a maid been so forward with him, nor so appealing to his
eyes and body, not even his wife who, as most maids, remained passive during
the act of lovemaking and courtship. But this maid… she intrigued him with her
words and moves, she had done more than seduce him… and he loved that.
Moaning
softly, Éowyn pressed her body closer to Elrond’s as the half-elf ravished her
lips hungrily as if he had been dehydrated and her lips were the sweet water of
a refreshing river. She loved those lips over her own, parting them urgently so
the other’s tongue could dance with hers; she loved the strong yet gentle arms
pulling her closer…
The
famished lips soon moved to her neck, spreading butterfly kisses over the
beating line of speeding pulse until they parted to bestow soft open mouthed
kisses as he reached part of her shoulder. Gasping softly, she arched in his
arms and, closing her eyes, she pleaded to the heavens her torture would became even sweeter…
“Are you
positive you want this?” Elrond asked reluctantly to the pale shoulder, needing
to make sure Éowyn really desired this as much as he, whilst she gripped his
robes needfully.
“I am
positive I want *you*.” she assured
in a passion softened voice, pressing her breasts fully to the elf’s chest as
she arched in his arms once again at the pleasant waves of air that collided
with her damp shoulder as Elrond spoke.
Closing his
eyes needfully, Elrond allowed his fingers to tangle in the blond hair gently
as he once again ravished her lips in a passionate kiss that made her moan
incoherently with lust. His fingers stroked their way along the nape of her
neck to the row of buttons on her dress, easily undoing them from their clasps
until several of them were parted to allow his fingers to slide amid the folds
of fabric and tease the feathery-like flesh of her back.
Trembling
at the teasing touch, she embraced her lover whilst kissing him softly, and she
felt caring hands settling on her shoulders briefly, until the fabric of her
dress was slowly pushed off them until it felt to the middle of her arms.
Gasping softly, her eyes raised from the elf-Lord’s swollen lips to his now
darkened eyes, and as if reading her silent plea, Elrond slowly pushed the
cleavage of her dress down revealing the upper part of her body to his eyes;
and before she could form any coherent thought those alluring lips were kissing
one her nipples as a cold hand cupped the opposite one while playfully brushing
its thumb over the hardening nub. “Elrond,” she moaned absently as her long
pale fingers tangled in the dark mass of hair, wishing to hold that mouth to
her forever.
The
whimpers and moans were driving Elrond mad with lust and need, the hard flesh
within the confine of his pants pleaded with him to move faster though his mind
ordered him to keep the slow pacing instead. Éowyn felt so good in his arms, so
soft and tender as a summer flower, yet as strong and demanding as the wind
wanting to be heard. p>
Carefully,
adoringly he lay her down on the disregarded robe lying on the naked rock and
leaning backwards he smiled at the beautiful image. At the beautiful maid who
was about to be his, if not for the lapse of less than a couple of minutes.
“You are astonishing,” he whispered, leaning over her to kiss her lazily as his
own body settled over hers, and his right hand teasingly managed to push the fabric
of her skirt up until the palm of his hand stroked idly the smooth thigh.
“It looks
like compliments are no longer needed my Lord…” she teased, lightly running her
fingers along the dark silky hair, arching eagerly into the other’s body.
Smiling
with amusement, Elrond bit carefully on the trapped nipple making her whimper.
“A well deserved compliment will take you anywhere, anytime…” he assured but in
a purr as his lips travelled to the other, already hard nipple.
Whimpering
softly, she pressed her hands on Elrond’s back and let them slide to his rear
as she groped it teasingly, urging the half-elf’s groin to press blatantly
against her thigh as he moved and growled with repressed desire.
“Let me
feel you,” she asked between gasps as one of her hands travelled from his
buttocks to the front of his body to settle on his groin. The hesitant fondle
turned more confident as she noticed Elrond’s face contort with lust, pleasure
and need at her touch. “More?” she questioned softly as her fingers moved once
again, leaving a whimpering elf, to ghost over the laces of Elrond’s pants.
Swallowing
hard, the elf Lord met Éowyn´s evenly darkened eyes and, finding himself unable
to speak, he just nodded. And Elrond did not know whether to be thankful or
worried when the cold fingers enfolded the heated flesh within the confines of
his pants to stroke it teasingly enough to drive him crazy yet not hard enough
as to make him come yet.
“So hard…”
she whispered almost in awe at the sensation whilst stroking the side of the
elf’s body soothingly. She had never in her entire life imagined touching a
male could feel so good. Whimpering softly she arched needfully as her legs
pressed against Elrond’s sides pleadingly.
Both taking
the pleading cue, and well aware he was not going to be able to last much
longer, he met her eyes and, as if in silent agreement, the maid’s hand
travelled to his hip whilst his own pushed her skirt further up before his hand
snaked probingly between her legs. He almost came as his fingers found the
moist opening of her body and he could not help but to push a teasing finger
inside her, making her arch from the stone as her eyes sparkled with lust and
infinite pleasure. “Are you ready for me?” he purred leaning forward to brush
his lips with hers. “Do you want me to take you?”
A
victorious grin formed on his lips as she only nodded. “I want to hear you,” he
ordered to the parted lips until they breathed out the word *please*.
Removing
the long finger from her body, Elrond settled between her legs, allowing his
shaft to press against the warm entrance of her body.
“Go slow,
please?” Éowyn asked inrackracked voice as her eyes focused on the elf’s as
Elrond looked up at her.
The
half-elf Lord frowned slightly as recognition suddenly hit him. He had assumed
by her forward behaviour that she had had male lovers before; apparently he had
been mistaken. The uncertainty showing at the moment in her big blue eyes
proved his point and he nodded slowly whilst lowering his body once again to
kiss her softly and reassuringly. “I will be gentle,” he whispered. “I will
take care of you.”
Smiling
against Elrond’s lips she pressed herself to the hard flesh, silently letting
her lover know she was alright, and moaned softly as the half-elf’s shaft took
her achingly slowly.
Closing her
eyes briefly as she got used to it, the warm sensation made her feel complete
for the first time in her life.
Holding the
elf Lord’s hips she arched a little, allowing him deeper inside her and she
gasped needfully as his shaft slid further more inside. “Yes,” she whispered as
the soothing voice asked her *Alright?*
Closing his
own eyes, Elrond started to rock slowly and rhythmically, allowing Éowyn to get
used to the intrusion. As both parties moans and whimpers increased, so did the
speed of the thrusts, and it took only a few more for her to come, trembling
and moaning his name loudly to the darkening sky above them as the souf thf the
raging waves colliding with the rock beneath them muffled her cry of pleasure.
Watching
her face sparkle in ecstasy, Elrond found his release soon after hers, filling
the slippery passage with his seed as her name fell repeatedly from his
lips.
Feeling her
body relax under his, Elrond pulled gently out of her and curled up by her
side, covering her body with part of the tunic that was serving them as a
mattress at the moment. Embracing her tightly to him, he felt her body
snuggling eagerly against his own as her arms rested over his, and her fingers
drew incoherent figures on the back of his hands. Smiling, he looked down and
smiled at the relaxed figure in his arms, “You are beautiful,” he whispered
adoringly, making her blush and she smiled shyly. Pressing his lips to her
cheek, he looked at the horizon and cocked his head to appreciate it better.
“It is almost as beautiful as you,” he whispered, nuzzling her neck a little
before he settled to watch the rising moon with his lover in his arms.

Faramir
frowned at the image of Éowyn walking down the cliff with another man, and he
hurried along the beach to meet them both. Not that he had any rights, but he
wished he had and, before he could even notice, he was holding his hand for her
to take it as support as she climbed down the last rock to the sand.
Releasing
Elrond’s hand she took hold of Faramir´s rough ones and smiled politely at the
dark haired man who had been accompanying her during the afternoons in the
Houses of Healing. “Thank you.” She bowed politely, glancing back as Elrond
stepped down on the sand as well. “Did something happen?” she asked quietly as
her gaze travelled reluctantly to Faramir once again.
“Your
brother was beginning to worry with your delay and I volunteered to find you,
but now I see you had an escort.” He bowed at Elrond before he looked at her.
Why was her hair so tangled? he wondered to himself,
and what was it that he noticed different in her? Something had changed yet he
could not put a name to the difference between the maid he had seen in the
morning and the one he was facing now.
“We watched
the sunset together.” She smiled beamingly at Elrond as the elf Lord smiled
back at her sweetly. Both of them suddenly forgot the third party involved in
the conversation.
“We should
go inside now, the wind is speeding up and it is getting cold out here,” the
elf Lord remarked as he remembered the maid’s dress and his eyes noticed the
light shivers running over her body despite his robe which she was wearing.
And so, one
in awkward silence and two stealing glances from time to time, they headed for
the castle and there in the hallway of the main hall they parted as each one
headed their own way.

She looked
at her image in the mirror, and found that looking at herself
in that white dress was much more than she could take at the moment. Averting
her eyes, she glanced down to the finger that soon would be wearing her wedding
ring and a small sigh escaped her pale lips as the fingers of the opposite hand
hovered over that naked digit.
“You will
soon get use to this new life,” Arwen assured, stepping forward until she
smiled at the mirror image as Éowyn glanced up to look at her. And suddenly she
realised for the first time the similarities between her mother and this human
maid. They were so alike it seemed the Valar had taken a mirror and had created
someone in Celebrian´s image to grant Arda the gift of astounding beauty once
again. “If you tell me what worries you I might be able to soothe the fears,”
the elven queen assured quietly, smiling at the human maid and brushing her
fingers over the smooth cheek.
“I am only
nervous I believe,” the blond lady murmured, biting back her tears. “It is
nothing more,” she assured with a fake smile as a servant announced it was
time.
Smiling,
Arwen took the veil and carefully let it fall along the blond wavy hair before
she placed a delicate circlet of purple flowers to hold it steady. “You are
astonishing,” the elf queen assured, as Éowyn checked herself in the mirror
again, before she averted her eyes and started to walk until she got to the
small hall before the path she would followed to the
altar.
Standing
there, the blond bride looked at the gathered people and at her husband-to-be
waiting at the other end and she felt a hard knot closing her throat and almost
preventing her from breathing as her heart screamed her not to continue with
this foolery. But she had too, things were expected from her and no matter how
much she had tried to believe Elrond had only been a falling star in her life,
she had now, in this moment, realised that the elf Lord had been much more than
that, he had been a glimpse of happiness, he had been and always would be the
love of her life…
* * * * * *
* * * * * * * * * * * *
Leaning on
the rail, Elrond stared at the ocean as he felt the relaxing motion of the ship
as it danced with the waves as it sailed. Closing his eyes, he sighed softly as
he could see her so clearly in his mind, he could even see her in that white
dress Arwen had been fussing over for days, he could see her looking at Faramir
saying *I do* as the golden band slid
on her finger… He could see her future peppered with brief moments of happiness
as she spent her life in a golden cage, not having the company of the one her
heart still held dear. And it was not vanity, it was not the principle of the
first male that took her as many would have thought, the elf Lord had been able
to see the love her eyes held when he met her gaze, even long past the day of
their brief encounter. He sensed the pain when she told him she could not go
with him when he offered, the masked desperation when she announced her
engagement to the man that would only the chain to her mediocrity…
Sighing,
the dark haired elf looked at the rising moon on the horizon, looking just like
the one they had watched that day together. And he smiled sadly, shaking his
head, realising he had once again lost one of the loves he had found…
