Pairing:
Orlando and Sean
A/N: I saw
‘Mystery Alaska’ one day last year and had to think about good-looking Men in
woollen Sweaters, with scarves around they necks, gloves on their hands and
with fur-hats. And about loads of snow, LMAO! This was the result of it.
Thought I share…

Snow and Orlando
Snow had fallen all day and covered the
fields and hills almost knee high. The branches of the trees were covered with
white crystals, sparkling in the last rays of sunlight like diamonds.
The clapping of a door was hushed through the
comforting weight of the white powder and so were the steps of the two men.
Just the crunching of ice under heavy boots disturbed the early evening.
Short outtakes of breath emerged like white
dust from their open mouths, almost freezing in midair.
“Why, for Christ sakes Orlando, did you bring
me out here in the freezing cold?”
A wicked laughter answered him, causing the
older man to cast a worried glance into the other’s direction. His green eyes
narrowed slightly but the face of the younger man showed no expression. Well,
almost none. Only his eyes gleamed with mischief.
“You will see, Sean.”
Orlando’s answer was too short to read into it.
The few lights of the houses were left behind
and darkness embraced them. Only the full moon reflecting on the snow under
their feet helped them see.
The way turned left but Orlando stopped Sean
with a hand on his shoulder. Green eyes met hazelnut ones, searching for
answers or simply smiling.
“We have to go to the right.”
Sean’s head wiped around, his golden hair
sparkled with frozen snowflakes. He looked up the hill and the heavy loads of
snow. He hesitated for a moment.
“You scared, old man? Or are you simply that,
too old for adventures?”
Sean growled in annoyance. He bent down and
grabbed a hand full of the cold stuff, throwing it right in Orlando’s face.
The young one jumped back a little, taken
completely by surprise. Before he’d regained his composure, Sean had already
started walking through the high snow. Quickly Orlando followed him, wishing
soon that he would have his elven powers so he could simply walk over the snow.
The cold was forgotten after the first half
mile. The hill was not as small as it had looked from the bottom and rose
steeply.
Their breathing became heavier. Sweat ran down
their spines like wet fingers caressing them.
Sean stumbled, falling down on his knees,
bathing in the cold for a moment. His
fingers stung from the ice and he cursed under his breath. He had left his gloves in his other coat.
“We’re almost there.”
“Yeah, right but where? In the middle of nowhere,
freezing to death?”
Sweet laughter filled his ears, warming him up
from inside.
“We’re not going to die. Freezing yes but it’s
worth it. I promise!”
Sean stared angrily at Orlando or at least he
hoped he did. He was too breathless, too exhausted to be really angry.
They walked on for five more minutes when
Orlando said what Sean saw with his own eyes, holding his breath in wonder.
“We are here.”
They’d reached the top of the hill.
In front of them, not as far down under and
away as he would have thought, was the city. Its lights shone like stars in the
black sky, painted with dim colours between dark trees and hills. Rooftops were
covered with blankets of sparkling pieces of snow, the windows glowing like the
eyes of cats between them.
For a long moment they just stood and looked.
Sean couldn’t turn his eyes away from the beauty of the picture in front of his
eyes. He had to clear his voice before he could speak.
“Thank you.”
“For what?” Orlando sounded a bit surprised.
“For sharing this with me. Now I know why you
brought me up here.”
Laughter again, not sweet but wicked.
Definitely wicked.
“No, you don’t. You have no idea.”
Sean turned slowly around when he heard the
words. The look in the face of the younger man worried him. No, it did more. It
scared him.
His throat went dry and he tried to swallow the
slow creeping fear down again. It didn’t work.
“I brought you up here to bring you down.”
“What?”
Now Sean was confused, too. Not a good pairing;
fear and confusion.
“We will go down now.”
Before Sean could say anything else, a lithe,
strong body bumped into him. Powerful hands pulled him close in an embrace
while they both fell into darkness.
They hit the ground in a cloud of white,
freezing dust. Cold and wetness embraced them, taking their breath and sent
them sliding down.
Sean’s eyes were wide open but he couldn’t see
more than snow and darkness. Desperately, he held onto Orlando’s body,
clutching his fists within his coat, his fingers pressing deep into Orlando’s
shoulders, scared that he could loose him.
Faster and faster they slid downwards, gliding
over the snow like they would sit on a sledge. A bump in the earth sent them up
in the air, causing them to tumble over each other when they landed again.
Orlando’s excited laughter crossed his dazed
mind before they started to spin around seriously.
Snow was everywhere, in his mouth, his eyes,
his ears, causing Sean to spit and splutter. He was dizzy and his body hurt
where he’d hit the ground over and over again. He didn’t know where up or down
was. He felt nothing but cold and the dazzling speed, which had sent them down
the slope, towards the town. For an endless time as it seemed they tumbled over
each other and the snowy ground. Sean lost track of time after a while. All he
knew was that Orlando still held on to him.
His heart tried to break his ribs, beating that
hard. Breath came in harsh pants and his eyes were closed. His head was
swimming so much that Sean didn’t even notice they had stopped.
Something heavy was lying on his chest, shaking
as furious as he did.
Slowly he started to regain control of his body
again. He felt arms around his waist, holding on very tight. Wet curls tickled
his neck, sending drops of water over his skin as they lay very still.
The body on his own finally pushed himself up.
Two cold hands grabbed his face and he felt Orlando leaning over him; felt his
warm breath on his skin. Slowly, he opened his eyes and found hazelnut ones
looking worried but amused down at him.
“You ok? Hell, what a ride, wasn’t it? That was
so much fun!”
Sean closed his eyes again, not trusting his
ears yet. It was impossible that he just heard what he heard. It couldn’t be.
Even colder lips pressed to his own brought him
completely back to reality. Sean groaned deep in his throat and parted his
lips. He welcomed the heat that was Orlando’s mouth, his tongue exploring with
fierce desire.
Sean finally broke away when he ran out of
breath.
He took Orlando in his arms, rolling until he
was on top. He pinned down Orlando’s arms with his hands over his head, needing
just one hand to keep him still.
His green eyes were blazing with fire. His
voice was barely a hissed whisper.
“Fun? You thought that it was fun?”
Orlando smiled innocently into his face. “Yes,
it was fun. Want to do it again?”
His smile froze on his face and his brown eyes
grew impossibly wide when he saw Sean’s free hand grabbing a load of snow.
“You want fun? This is fun, Lover-Boy.”
Grinning evilly, Sean pushed the snow into
Orlando’s coat under his shirt and into his trousers, making the younger man
nearly jump out of his skin. Orlando struggled to free himself but Sean was
much stronger.
“Do you yield?”
Another load hit Orlando’s face this time,
finding a way in his mouth, letting him cough and splutter.
“Enough. I give up.”
“Really? I thought playing in the snow was fun!”
Orlando twisted and turned under the heavy
body, still not able to free himself.
“Please, Sean. Stop it… Please!”
The older man decided that enough was enough.
Orlando’s body was wracked with shivers and his lips were so dark, Sean was
sure they would look blue in daylight. He captured them in a bruising kiss,
leaving no doubt behind who won the game Orlando had started.
Sean’s hand stroked over the freezing skin of
his cheek in a soft caress.
“Let’s bring you inside and warm you up a
little. That could be fun, won’t it?”
He smiled one last time into brown eyes before
he pulled Orlando up so they could leave…
