You once again managed to outdo yourself and this story gets even more beautiful with each chapter. The way you described that ultimate binding, not just a physical one, but a spiritual one... when I read that this thought suddenly crossed my mind and I thought, this is what it must be like - perfect love, the one that has to individuals melt into one. You caught that perfectly and put it into this beautiful picture before my eyes of waves rising higher and higher against each other only to become one.

And then there is that last passage and when I read it I realized this must be it, this must have been the last time they have been together like that. There is a finality to it and so I wait and hold my breath to see them moving towards the end and I think my little heart is already preparing to break when the end comes at last, because I somehow now in my heart, there will not be a happy ending, only a bittersweet one at best. But I also know that whatever ending you choose, it will be a worthy one just as this story has been.

And I can only once again return the thanks, the pleasure has been all mine, dear. You and this story have been an extraordinary gift and delight, an inspiration.

I actually dread the day when this story is over, those characters and the entire story really have wormed their way into my heart. Seeing this story end will be like letting go of a dear friend. :)

How terribly sweet and sad and wonderful! You continue to out do yourself with each coming chapter! Keep up the very excellent work, and tell that March Warden that I will gladly help you to put him back into his place! *wicked grin*

    @ Vi:

HA! So it WAS you after all, lol! *waves right back* You meet MCers in all the right places. *grins* I even think that Sivan Semesh from the MC yahoo group posts her stuff here (or used to at least). Have a great weekend and enjoy "Remember how to smile" once the girls start posting! :) /shredder

Oh boy.. you left me totally heartbroken. That was so ultimately beautiful and yet so sad. I am a little lost for words but in a way this has to be one of my favourite chapters. The fact that he is willing to suffer such pain just for a bond with her, even though it may be very limited... how beautiful and moreover how very sad. You actually had me a little misty eyed here and I usually don't cry over fanfic, lol. I just which he would say the words, you know the ones I mean, but it makes it all the more beautiful in a way that he does NOT, even though it is so painfully obvious what both of them are feeling.

My god, to think how far you have come with that story (yes I know it is his, yadayada...), would you ever have guessed when you started this sequel it would turn out like this? Amazing, amazing, amazing, I cannot say it often enough.

I keep telling you, but I like your attention to detail, the way her thumbs brush his brows for example, it makes the picture so very vivid. :)

Complicated just barely defines their relationship But, I am not sure that they CAN stay together...unless or until she settles things with Legolas....
As much as I like the Prince...I think that Annowe has gone beyond what they shared...
Legoals was more like a dream that almost came true.
    Of course...I have been wrong before. :) :) :)
    HI SANDRA!!!!!

That was absolutely amazing, my dear, I knew you would handle it in a most extraordinairy way and you have. As I assumed before you even started you really gave new meaning to the bonding. BTW, the good ol' pointy ears was right not to let you read up on it, lol! And don't worry about the end, I am sure it will be a good one no matter whether it is going ot be happy or sad - or both. :)

*sits back with sigh of contentment and a choked up throat* Thank you for letting this side of this amazing creature be shown. I have left and cried and shouted and am incredibly tied into this story.

That being said....is the red ember his life force? And can he see one in her now that they're bound?

I don't want for them to part, but it's not my tale is it? I will be sad when he departs...

I am utterly speechless. Something new for me. That was the most exquisite thing I have ever read! I'm sorry I don't have more for you right now, but I am completely in awe. Great job! I am loathe to see this end!

Wow! That was once again so amazing and I cannot wait for the next chapters to arrive. I have read many stories that dealt with the matter of "binding" between two elves, but never has it been dealt with like that. You make it a mental and physical experience that the reader is in fact able to share as those two go along. How absolutely amazing!!!

Oh, and as for the glow thing: I was wondering... could she be pregnant? Is that it? *scratches her head* I was just wondering she might aquire the glow if she now carries elven life inside of her... oh well, probably all wrong anyway! :D

    Forgot...

"Quickly, she pressed her face into his shoulder so she did not have to see him like that – his body merged with hers and his eyes, soft as a gray dove, gazing down on her tenderly."

And you expect me not to faint when you talk about his eyes like that? *sighs* Hot, sexy and incredibly romantic all in one sentence. Brilliant! *glares at Haldir* Wipe that smug grin of your face, Mister!
