Oh yes, still reading avidly. Can't often review, between my shitty (pardon the language) internet connection and aff.net's woes. I can barely get my own stories to upload. Somehow, I was hoping Glorfindel would knock some sense into Elrond! Still impressed with your writing style, and seemingly bottomless knowe ofe of all things Tolkien. :-)

I admire Glorfindel's perceptiveness of Legolas' plight and his rapid understanding and assessment of Elrond's folly and deception. If he does accompany Elrond to Greenwood, I would love to see him acontribute to Legolas' healing and end to lonesomeness ^_^ A fitting companion and mate indeed.

Poor legolas! Thranduil is too blind to see the truth! I'm so happy to see that there was an update, but maybe there is something wrong with aff.net, the dates are sort of scrambled a bit so it was a real surprise when i saw that there was an update. Please keep writing! [my last review cut out half of what i wrote.]

    Hi,

another great chapter. Your words are wonderful. I love this:

{How different they are! Oropher would have appreciated this Legolas. Stubborn, but loyal. Devoted to a fault, self-sacrificing and sometimes rash.} he thought, for he had never doubted Ningloriel's assertions of Legolas' paternity. Iarwain wondered if Thranduil had ever noticed how similar in character the outcast was to the family patriarch. {Unlikely.} It occurred to the Sylvan elder that it might have been difficult for Thranduil to have such an elf around him, with a spirit so like his father's housed in a form that resplendently mirrored Ningloriel.

    Beautiful masterful writing.

    Sarah.

Ooooh! You have me captivated, simply captivated. XD Nothing is going as Thrandy plans, I see. *snickers* That's not new. X3 He plays really dirty. *hiss* I dislike him even more now. He has such a warped perception and is paranoid over the throne. I absolutely loved it when Legolas claimed his siblings in front of the whole court. *glomp* He's such a cutie. But Thranduil was so cruel implicating him, saying he's a traitor because he didn't know who the person he slept with was, in reality. Grrr. Hees mes me wanna bop him over the head. v_v And I'm not normally a very agressive person. I can't wait to see what happens next! Once again, you've left me at the edge of my seat. =D

Yeah!!! Legolas has been proven innocent. In your face, Thranduil! Excellent chapter.

Gods, Tranduil is such a demagog! And those Elves are so ready to believe whoever speaks last. You's think centuries old people would be less gullible.
I feel Lindalcon is going to have a fallout with mommy (which i loathe)
And again: ha! eat that, Thranduil (who I abhor in your story)
Yay for Erestor! (do you plan for him and Legolas to become friends again?ope ope so)

So satisfying to see some kindness and justice given to Legolas after his many years of selflessness and suffering. LOVE IT!!!
Do you mind me announcing your chapters on The_Galadhrim? Just slap my hands if you would rather do it yourself ^_^ hugs!

Ooooh! Things are really heating up now. XD I just love how you are portraying everyone so far. =3 I knew they would be fair to their Tirno. XD And as for sneaking in Lindalcon's pov of what he heard his mather and Thrandy saying was also well done. I can't wait for more. *pleading puppy dog eyes*

Oooo, excellent beginning to the Council of Erebor! Lots of teasing hints to come of evil plots to be revealed. The Sylvan folk rallying around Legolas. Lindalcon, in the aftermath of his grief, standing tall and confident and adult - so poignant. Thranduil's anger mounting - I fear that he is certain to make good on his threats and demand evidence from the witnesses to the destroyed letter.

Eagerly looking forward to the next chapter!
