    Chapter 53 Part 2
I am so screwed on the chapter numbers.

Your first paragraph was a marvel. I loved it. I could spend way too much time just rolling your words around in my mind and "seeing" what you describe.
All the "adults"? OK Fearfaron is an adult, Mithrandir is ageless and I guess by human standards Aragorn is an adult. Legolas does act quite youthful and carefree in the book and the movie so I guess I can go with him not being an adult. I like the way you think. I really liked the seconds flowing with glacial slowness while they tried to outwait each other. They were too late. He had already given them the slip.

That is good strategy to have a way out if thingt tot tough. Only if they have an insider helping will they fail to escape. I'm not too keen on the hands and knees stuff. Makes my knees hurt to just think about it.

Pain doesn't bother Legolas. He should be used to it by now he has been inundated by it. More pain than we can even imagine.

Lindcalon fearing for the outcome of this little spree. I worry about this too. This could be so bad for Legolas. I think it would be good for him to see the new efling. He has so much love to share with someone. But if he gets caught by the king he could easily end up in the dungeons for attempted murder of his usurper. I would hate to think of that. As he said, he would die there away from Tawar.

Gwilith's reaction to leaving Legolas in the dark was interesting. Children have this view of the world that is simple and direct. For her Legolas may disapear from her sight forever depending on the outcome of this.

I am terrified of the dark and all the things Legolas conjured up would drive me insane. You're a better elf than I am, Gunga Din. He's really scaring himself here. He is scaring me here. The empty space in his sould when he's cut off from Tawar was daunting to think about. He must have really suffered in Moria.

Now here is one of your nice touches. He was in the North Patrol when the dwarves and Bilbo were in the stronghold. He had never really given much thought to dwarves when he saw them on the Forest Road. What they were doing, where they were going. Now the rune brings him back to a level, balanced frame of mi The The comfort he gets from thinking about the doughty, short, hard working miners. That was sweet. Not scary like being in the bowels of a monster being digested.

I love the twists and turns your story has. Just when you think you know where things are going OOPS and here we go off on another path. I think the biggest one for me is Elrond in Imladris having second thoughts about Legolas. Elrond has always been a tragic figure for me. his his losses, and there are many, and yet he just kept trying to make things OK. I have always thought that his sons never sailed. It would be in keeping with the rest of his life.

Well this was a very scary chapter. We enjoy and appreciate so keep 'em coming. giggle

    58 Part 1
I'm caught up. Yippee. And I learned a lot more from going over this long, involved and quite beautiful dark tale. I intend to do this many more times because this story is so dense that I picked up some really good insights the second time through.

AN - I am so sorry for TithenGalen. I love my car too. It is the equivalent of a magic carpet. They will take us anywhere we need to go. I hope you didn't get hurt in the accident. I also hope you like your new job and it pays you lots of money. What a dream, hmmmm.

As far as your website goes I now have it bookmarked. When I read a new chapter that is all that is on my mind. Anything not bearing on your story just goes right over my head. I noticed your URL this time through.

    Now on with your chapter.

I like Erestor and I feel very sorry for him in this chapter, He gets really dumped on, literally. I know he deserves it but I loved the description of him as a roue. He really sees himself that way and I think that is one of the things that bothers him the most. He just wasn't cut out to be a cold, heartless spy and Elrond forced him into this situation. Another reason to kick Elrond's high and might elven *ss. What is really annoying is that Elrond is home, warm, comfortable, lollling around day dreaming about a certain wood elf and not being hauled before King "butter wouldn't melt in my mouth" Thranduil.

It was funny that the trees tripped him, called him One Brings Fading, the birds pooped on him and harassed him, and every time he swore Radagast bonked him with his staff. Poor sweet lovely Erestor. Then he realizes just how badly he has been influenced to act and he gets very serious. Oh please let his two sweeties forgive him. I thought his feelings about his father being ashamed of him , fading or Thranduil killing him for spying was very heartfelt. I blame Elrond myself but Erestor isn't trying to weasel out of this mess by blaming his superiour. I admire that in anyone.

This plot twist does worry me a little because I know that the king will just try to use this as another way to hurt Legolas and yeestoestor wants to help to make up for his naughty actions.

I liked that the birds warned Radagast of the orcs so that they could avoid them. You know very little is ever written about Radagast and it is a pity. He is a very modern Istar really. Into saving the earth/Arda, taking care of the animals and plants. I know that Saruman despised him as being simple minded but look where Saruman's plans got him. I really loved Erestor's fear of being turned into something unnatural or in this case something natural like a cloud of dust. Snort.

Ah Talagan. He liked Legolas so this is good. Also likes Radagast this is good. He doesn't like Erestor, not so good. The wood elves dwelling on the past was good. After all if you're immortal you would tend to still take umbrage over events that were thousands of years ago. Mere yesterday to them. Well I like the way Radagast takes care of a little tension, He just turns up the heat

    I

It isd thd that Talagan feels as much remorse as Erestor does. In the heat of battle and the adrenalin that follows things are done and said that can be haunting. Let's face it, Thranduil had this whole thing planned. He wasn't going to let Talagan interfere with his plans no matter what. Having Legolas alive was a huge hitch in his machinations so he wouldn't have let anyone spoil this for him. Talagan did help Legolas by having his warriors look after him while he built the traps. That was nice. See Legolas there are elves that care.

Again poor Erestor. We need a Greek chorus here for every humiliating incident. That way his debt to Legolas will be paid in full and all will know it. But Talagan knows too much about Erestor and what he has been up to to cut the Noldo any slack so here Erestor, Lord Elrond's Councilor, Warrior and all around Fun Guy gets hauled into Mirkwood's stronghold like a sack of potatoes. Gotta love this turn of events. giggle

    Chapter 37
Why do I keep forgetting to put the chapter numbers up first? It is so annoying.
Legolas has way too much feeling for "Erestor" doesn't he? This is an Elrond/Legolas story and I find that as of of contradictions as Elrond found Legolas and Legolas now finds Elrond. In a way your story is so real. There are no easy answers here.
So Legolas can't share his true feelings for this "Erestor". He has true feelings for the elf? My it is getting warm in here.
But the healer "Erestor" could divine Legolas' hopes, fears to use against him and yes that is a true perversion of his healing powers.
Legolas goes into shock. He has just had one blow afer another and he can't take any more so it is shut down time. That nice numbness one uses to protect oneself when one can no longer bear reality. If he though his life was bad it is so much worse than he ever thought. Sigh.
What a scene you wrought here. So full of emotion, baring the soul of the wood elf. Leaving nothing back, nothing hidden, openly exposed. Shudder.Oh hOh how he twists and turns to debase himself. No righteous anger over other's actions against him only self directed anger to punish what he feels are his actions, his faults, his failings. Yes that would be frustrating to his friends. He has to work through this.
The Legolas that Mithrandir knows will be no more. Maybe like the phoenix from the ashes he will rise stronger, more capable and resistant to his past. That's sounds good to me. He will have to rebuild himself with a new reality now. No more dreams and hopes for a life that simply will not be. He has to salvage his present to build a future.
Mithrandir wanting to salvage something clean and good for Legolas and Aragorn was so nice. Legolas being like a beech tree, naked to winter now. A beach tree has hopes of a spring so maybe Legolas will have a spring much better than any other time he has had.
Also Aragorn sensing that the elf wears his emptiness now as a garment formed and fitted for him. What beautiful metaphors and similes. I just revel in your language.
Sigh. Legolas wanted for centuries for Elrond to claim the prince as his son but Aragorn has to admit that Elrond never mentioned him. But it so so sweet that Elrohir and Aragorn wanted to kidnap him and bring him to live with his "family" in Imladris. Wouldn't that have been a scene to see? He only wanted to be of interest to someone.
Well Aragorn is going to have a really hard time reconciling his notions of Elrond with the reality. Glorfindel would not be so base but nd and and Erestor? They just went way down on the noblililty scale in Aragorn's eyes.
No Elrond never spoke of Legolas. Those words like stone on eggshells and the elf can't take any more. Another great simile.
Sorrow for what life might have been. To be denied a life with no ability to change it, no control over it, no hope of betterment. What a vile thing to do to any living creature.
What a day for the elf. From the high of the great battle with the spiders to the lowest low now. All his hopes and dreams gone to despair.
And now we have deja vu. Two more in the talan with him and they whim him to take off his clothes. He had every right to freak out. I can just see Legolas awash in Mithrandir's robes on this tiny talan way up high in a tree. Crash time now. The healing power of sleep.
So Mithrandir wants to haul Elrond's *ss before the Council of the Wise. He has to remind the human that Elrond is not the victim here. I hate it when people start making excuses for those who plunder others lives. There are choices and you need to make the right ones for all not the most expedient ones for you. I am afraid of the affect this might have on Legolas though. To have all this come out and all the elves to know might be more than he could bear.
As far as Arwen goes. She is a tough chick and she can definitely handle it.
Weary of the game, the manipulation, being jerked around. Look out here's one determined elf. Go Legolas. giggle

Well you already know how much I like the communion that Legolas has with Tawar so this was all great for me. The trees where the spiders hide standing out like beacons of unadulterated hatred, a cancerous blight. Shiver.
OOH He's going to have to touch spiders to fight them. Icky. I hate spiders so much. Before the movie I saw them as big fat puffy spiders. All bloated with age and incrustations but now that I have seen Shelob in the movie I see them like that. All jumpy and skittery like real spiders. I could hardly watch the movie Shelob. She was like my worst nightmare come to movie life. When I read the book I invisioned them as big, soft, plump and waiting to jump on you. But Shelob in the movie is a real spider looking, acting and menacing arachnid. And now Legolas is going to have to touch them.
He just has this sense doesn't he. His feeling that Gandalf's and Aragorn's survival is paramount. Well they will need him in the future too. Oh after all his pain he just wanted to end it all in one big glorious battle probably and now he can't because he has vowed to protect them. Good. I want the wood elf to be around forever. Good thing he is going to be. is is so noble.
He feels their presence. Ick again.
I did like your paragraphs describing how he burned the babies in the cocoons. They have every reason to hate him and want to destroy him.
OK Here we go into battle. Legolas is great in this, like a phantom in the air.
That spider battle was just glorious. Your descriptions of his fngs ngs and actions was breathtaking. I kept having to go back and back because I would get so caught up in the story and forget that I was supposed to be storing up notes for a review.
Using the spider leg for pirate moves was superb. Foul tube shaped hearts. You really use detail to your advantage. I oculdon aon and on about how wonderful this cer wer was. I especially like when the spiders began calling him all those names and relaying to the Dark Lord that things were not going too good. This doesn't bode well for the future.
He is punch drunk on victory. That adrenaline is not going to last for long they had better make hay while the sun shines here. He gave them and the horses a real frisson of fear didn't he? That slowly brings him out of it. He always blames himself poor little lost elf.
Aragorn recognizing the symptoms by remembering Elladan and his fits of depression over his kills, mother wouldn't know him for the delight he finds in killing orcs. Sigh. Tis nis not good for anyone, elves or any other being in Middle Earth.
Aragorn not ustanstanding thehanghange" and he has been raised by elves. Silly human. Elves and the Istari would understand the Butterfly Effect. They would be there to see it happen.
I used to swim in old holding ponds for logs. Many logs had sunk in the water and were slowly degrading. You couldn't see into the water at all and it was a really yellowish brown color. I don't envy them one little bit trying to get clean.
OK the Imladris poop has hit the fan. I so enjoy how you do this. You tease us with a hint, a mention but no not yet. Then in agonizing slowness until the right moment and then bam. There it is in all it's hideousness. So it continues. The lies, the deceit, the maneuvering all about to be laid wide open. And who is going to be hurt? Legolas of course. giggle

    Chapter 35
Basking in Mithrandir's enjoyment of his company. Well that is a switch for poor Legolas. He counts only three who feel that way about him. Lindcalon likes him too but he's very young so maybe he won't count until he matures.
The interchange of the song of Tawar and the fleeting notes of mortality's frail anthem. That was beautiful. You just have a way of describing something and calling an image to mind.
Why does no one ever listen to Legolas, even in the movie he never was listened to. He's trying to tell them the best way to go. They just grope in blinders without the forest to guide them. Ther're wasting valuable time here. Time that Shadow will use to set them up.
Oh the tre trees want to help but they are cut off and alone and frightened. Legolas feels his duty to help them but he has sworn an oath to help the Istar and the Man so he does. Once he leaves the ground to be among the trees the Shadow attacks him and brings him to despair again.
So he would rather face orcs than spiders. Me too. I really hate spiders and Shelob on screeen really creeped me out. Shudder. Not going to be a restful night. Oh the master of understatement .
    A.
Aragorn's contemplation of Legolas. A strange mis of youth and age. The wrong sort of youth and wrong kind of age. Sigh. He has had such an unbalanced life. Maybe doing the job he does now balances him and fulfills him more than the life he had before.
Well they wanted to rest but not in a slaughterhouse. Oh what a hideous thing to happen to those poor Men. But Legolas came to their rescue as soon as he could. Of course he will blame himself. He always does. Even Mithrandir has to tell him he did all he could. I am sure the humans are among those who sing his praises.
OK get ready for the spider battle. Oh I don't look forward to this at all.
They just don't understand Legolas. He is in his element. This is what he has been doing now for years. They know nothing about what they face this night and he does. So he cannot make them understand and after the battle they will know too much. Oh my. That is a nice link between elf and Istar.
Set fire to the forest and Legolas will be more than unhappy with you. It is as if the dead were doing thbestbest to aid them with their poor possessions. Sad.
That was a great, sickening, icky, gooey, bloody spider battle. Sr mer me timbers here.
Good to see they finally took Legolas' advice. It was a rough night indeed and they have the scars to prove it.
Now we have to see what poor Legolas has to endure with this battle. He always gets the short end of the stick. giggle

    Chapter 34 Part 2
I have to remember to always put the chapter numbers in. That is the whole point of this after all.
I do like Meril's acceptance of what fate has dealt her. Thranduil has no heir so she as a silvan elf knows it is her honor, privilege and duty to provide one. Not only for Thranduil but for her people. That does put a better light on her actions. Thranduil is a little bothered by the ease with which she dumped husband #1 and well he should be. There may be a lot of silvan laws, ritual, symbols, customs and heritage he doesn't get. Some may rise up to bite him when he least expects it.
That little scene with Lindcalon and Thranduil was chilling. After all Thranduil just may have had a lot to do with Legolas' debasement and he could much more easily take care of a little burr under the saddle named Lindcalon and the Usurper knows it. I truly do wonder if there is a good bone in the king's body. He has a measure of kindness to Meril but that is about it. Everyone else is just dust beneath his chariot wheels. To be used and abused. He is a tyrant, bully, despot. Lindcalon is right to wonder how Legolas managed to survive all those centuries in the king's prce. ce. By his close connection to Tawar is probably the main reason.
I loved the whole council scene. The Councilors are so typical of religious zealots.
Now we get to the good stuff. The king is clueless, duh, and Fearfaron uses that against him. He needs to brush up on his silvan law and customs. He also needs to get a clue as to what is going on in his kingdom. He doesn't even recognize the father of one of the warriors who died. He just digs himself in deeper and deeper until finally he is led to his own doom. He now has to suport his disgracedilediled, hated son. Yes the fates are lauging along with Ningloriel.
Great set up and pay off. giggle

The first three paragraphs of this chapter capture your style perfectly. Bringing the creation of Yavanna, the ecology of life that sustains a living organism that is the forest to our attention. The Eldar seeing all else as unfit to appreciate the forest for what it truly was; living, breathing and fully alive and awake, with abilities to communicate. Only Legolas has the depth of feeling and the forest reciprocates. Lovely.
Fearfaron and his faithful attention to his foster son. Letters, sent and received, and standing guard for any scrap of news he might glean from the Sentinel or from traders. He is just the elf Legolas needs in his life.
I feel very sorry for Lindcalon. He has lall all his family just as Legolas has. At least Legolas knows in his heart he never really had a true family. Not knowing who his father was. Hearing his parents wrathful arguments. Lindcalon had what he can remember as a perfect family life. Now his mother is after the main chance and this usurpo hio his father is a very snarcky elf. I loved that he "favored anarchy over governed rule" now that he has spent quality time dealing with politicians. Snorfle. That was great. The hideous levels of rule must be as bad for the elves as any other race. You capture the dismal Halls that he is condemned to inhabit and the dull, boring work he is expected to do just to please his mother. I loved making up words out of dusty, faded scrolls. You can really capture that type of work. His yearning for his father and his lost family life. His mother has certainly swept that little nagging memory under the royal carpet hasn't she?
Poor Lindcalon the Usurper. I think Meril is just a pragmatist with her eye on the main chance. Willing to cut her coat to fit her cloth, it helps if the cloth is royal purple velvet doesn't it? Who's to say what we would do in similar circumstances? She is certainly restful, kind and very capable for the king. Even the household elves appreciate her after Ningloriel. If the staff is with you half the battle is won. So Fearfaron sees no remedy for Lindcalon but time and wisdom to give resignation and stoic acdeptance. What an unhappy life he would lead.
Oh so Fearfaron feels that twice Legolas has been in deep trouble. He links to the the forest also. Cool.
The woods reacting to the ex prince's deep despair setting off a debate about portents and prophecies. I love this kind of thing that you do. Thranduil's subjects are more on the ball than he is. They have heard the news about a protector of humans in the forest, the Release of a Warrior and they begin to think of Legolas with some awe. About time too. I love Thranduil being clueless.
So th council meet at sunrise and he has no idea why. Has he ever thought of the term blindsided. He should pay a little more attention so that it doesn't happen to him.
Well Meril is a sensible elf anyway and probably more help to Thranduil than many others he has relied on. This doesn't make me like her any more although Thranduil is lucky to have her. She has a vested interest in keeping him happy and on the throne. His mate and their children. Oh my he has big plans. He is falling in love with Meril . She has hit the jackpot.
My what an intriguing chapter. giggle

I still continue to be impressed with this story, and the skills of the author. Erestor's worry and guilt ing ing him into the Greenwood, Radagast's ire on behalf of Legolas, the Mirkwood warriors' contempt and still simmering anger from the Last Alliance, and Talagan's recognition of his own guilt in the matter of the Judgement - an excellent chapter!

Legolas' climb through the labyrinth - I would *never* in a million years have thought of such a system, yet it is so right, so logical! And even better, dwarven-made! And here, with Legolas' musings on the makers, we see just a tiny glimpse of this part of his heart, that can turn (in loving friendship) to Gimli during the Quest.

Wonderful, wonderful story! You can be sure that I will continue to read (and if I review again, it will be on this site...).

(And so sorry about your accident and the state of your poor car - but it is good that you yourself are unharmed.)

    Chapter 33
Oh thank you for the timeline. I can see how this can go by the book canon so far. Also the casting out of the Necromancer and then Gollum and so forth. I look forward to your handling of all that. You truly have great style
Aragorn you have no idea how unhinged this poor elf is. Now the trees themselves threaten him. Hurry and placate them.
Another Elrond mention here. He managed to heal Celebrian's spirit to the point that she avoided the Halls of Waiting but she still had to go to the Undying Lands to recover. Legolas doesn't have that option. He is here to the bitter end.
I loved it when he kicked Aragorn.
So even the sons of Elrond wonder at Legolas' parentage. All of the elves in Middle Earth have probably dined out on this news at one time or another.
Aragorn has heard tales of the kinslayer from humans. So sad. Outlaw and hero. Actually that happens a lot. One persons patriot is another's traitor.
This was such a nicd burgeoning friendship chapter.realreally enjoyed your take on Aragorn. He and Mithrandir seem to be very believable. I could almost hear Ian McKellan's voice while reading your words. Very good. giggle

    Chapter 32
Beautiful linkingTawaTawar and TawarWaith as he hurls himself away from his pain. They share grief and the forest grieves because it couldn't protect Legolas from the Imladris elves. He is running to Fearfaron for comfort.
I'm sorry Radagast has so much self control. I was hoping he would break his staff over Elros hes head. So Elrond will leave for Imladris in a cold fury leaving behind a real mess for others to try to clean up. He can't get his hands dirty though. Oh no, he is the Lord of Imladris after all.
That dagger. Malthen gave it to him as a gift, he tried to commit suicide with it and then mp (TM) used to to threaten him with. I am amazed he can still use it. Of course he still loves Malthen and he thinks Malthen is his father so go figure.
Heartbreaking but he could kill an elf for the second time. There are a few more elves I think he might be inclined to kill after all this. His dream about Malthen was very telling. Malthen had no heart. Still because he still loves his "father" his self disgust is understandable.
Ah Mithrandir and Aragorn/Estel have wandered into bad territory. Greenwood has become like Grand Central Station of the Middle Earth hasn't it? As far as Mithrandir knowing an elven trail/road, I think he knows lots of things. Many of which he has no intention of sharing. Since being a fool is not a crime deserving of death he't 't hinder them but Legolas has a bone to pick with Mithrandir. A bone named Malthen.
The path has been twisted by Shadow influenced trees. Shadow is truly everywhere.
Radagast sent a message. I thought the bird was so cute when it brought the message. I'm sure the horses don't think cute is the best word. He is very concerned about Legolas' welfare and he should be. I don't thing Legolas is doing too good about now. At least Mithrandir knows that two Imladris elves are the cause of terrible trouble for Legolas. Good the news is about to hit the fan. Now they have to find Legolas and he saves them the trouble.
I think a feral elf free falling out of a tree with a dagger ready to use would be terrifying. Great moves on the elf's part.
Things are sticky now. Legolas is having a rather major hissy fit. Can we blame him? His life has just gone from bad to worse. How much does he have to endure?
I loved Mithrandir wanting to seek justice from the Lord of Imladris about the two elves who spread the gossip about Legolas' parentage to him. Heavy irony here. But Mithranir doesn't believe in this gossip. He thinks Thranduil is Legolas' father. When you consider it the mother can control conception. If she really wanted a whip hand over Thranduil and the two did use Legolas against each other, then she would make very sure that any son she produced would be thegs. gs. Otherwise her weapon would be useless.
Heaertbreaking here. "I need to go home." The only home he has now is Fearfaron. He has to escape all the feelings he can't cope with. Sigh. giggle

    Chapter 31
Elrond the r*t b*st*rd strikes again. What a web he has woven for the downfall of TawarWaith. Meanwhile the elf in question relaxes in Erestor's capable arms. Wish he could have more of that. So while Elrond is planning more pain for Legolas, Erestor is concerned about having caused more pain for him. What a pair. No one ever talked to Legolas except to demean him. Erestor must be a revelation for him.
So Erestor realizes finally that Legolas is seeking a father. Someone to love him. Erestor's news could kill him from grief. What a mixed up mess. Great story th.
    H.
How sad. Someone is worrying about him for the first time. I was glad to read Legolas proclaim he had no feelings for Elrond. he dhe does find it exciting that two strang elves desired him before seeing him. He really needs validation badly.
OK poor Erestor has done it again. Is this about the third time he has caused the elf to blow up? He never knows exactly why it happens, it just happens.
So now the history of the anklet comes to light. What a terrible thing to learn at any time but in the midst of having such a good time. His sanctuary now is ruined. Sigh. He loses everything piece by piece.

    Chapter 30
Legolas is so having a nice day. He might even get a whole twenty four hours of pleasure out of this. He wakes up smiling, all cuddly with Erestor, and feels genuine joy. Been a long time since that happened. I so wish this could last but I think this angst fest is going to go on for a long time. If only Legolas could go away to 'Lorien and escaps pas pain. First of all he has the deep desire to fulfill his Tasks to gain Warrior's Release for the other two warriors and he is banned from all other Realms. Nice though Ere Erestor though.

Oh good news about the little boy. Pity Elrond desires a renewing of any bond he might have felt with Legolas. This turkey won't fly. He has just done too much to the wood elf.
Well a Peeping Tom usually gets an eyeful and Elrond did much to his dissatisfaction. Now he ponders his fate to be always bereft. Do we see a pattern here? No not that Thranduil is always involved. Elrond seems to use and even abuse his lovers and then expects them to be at his beck and call at his convenience. He tells Erestor to seduce the prince and then gets angry when the seduction takes place?

Now we come down to the real reason for his anger. He would have loved to take Ningloriel as his bonded mate but he met her too late. He then engaged in a long relationship with her using her as a spy. Unfortunately he loved her but couldn't give her what she wanted from him and he blames her for this. I am sure Elrond had many loves during the time she had so he suffers from the old dreaded double standard. If he and Ninglorien had bonded she would probably have reveled in her position and been happy. Elrond could have been happy and we wouldn't see all this messy heartachght ght now. But because he went with his head not his heart he now forces himself on her son as revenge. Are all Ninglorien's line so false of heart? Are all of his line so deeply destructive when they fail to attain their desire? He is so full of himself. He is the high and mighty Lord of Imladris and possessor of Vilya. All others are just dust benearth his feet. I hope Legolas can stay out of his clutches. giggle

    Chapter 29
I'm glad you stretched this out over three chapters. We needed some tenderness after all that battle gore.
I agree with Erestor after he returns to Imladris Legolas may never be so well treated sexually again.
Nice description of the threesome. This would probably be unheard of in Tolkien's universe but fascinating in yours.
So for the first time, and I hope not the only time, Legolas has a lover who concentrates on him. His needs, wants and pleasure. He has been shown that pleasure and pain aren't always companions. Maybe this will give him the ability to reject lovers who do not love him, only want carnal pleasure from him, not with him.
So sweet, Erestor's reactions to Legolas' virginity in certain aspects of coupling. I thought your turnaround with the two was a great twist. At first we expected Erestor to be a sexual predator and up to no good. Here he ends up being the only elf to give Legolas kindness, satisfying, painfree love.
    Sigh, that was great. giggle
