Wow... talk about angst. That made me cringe. Mental note to self: Eat nothing red and/or crunchy while reading chapters of Feud :P Awesome chapter though ^_^

Oh don't worry... I'm not that desperate to kill poor Legolas. I'm so happy right now, that he's so happy.... Just I know it cannot last ^_^ *sigh*
Anyways, another great chapter! I'm really wondering who the father is now.... hmmmmm... It would be pretty ironic if it was Thranduil after all that. hehehehe. It would be nice to the stubborn king beg a little. But hey it's your story: I am merely your prisoner till you finish =/
    lots of love

Urrgh!!! Thranduil is so bullheaded! LOL - I love how you wrote that he didn't consider it a possible threat when he took Merril downstairs and revealed how he kept others' souls... that was priceless and so in tune with your characterization of him. He certainly isn't very capable of empathy, eh?

Anyhow - I had a couple questions, and don't have the time to go back and figure the answers out! First - I forgot the meanings of Erestor's names for his bondmates... what do the pen-names stand for again? Second - I've gotten a bit mixed up on what we know so far happened at Erebor... Merril was having an affair with a soldier, I think? Did she intend for her son's father to be killed, and Legolas to be disgraced so she could move in on the king? Thus she would have intended to betray both her lover and her husband? Or is this wrong? I've forgotten the chapter that explained as much of this as you've revealed, and couldn't puzzle out the references in this chapter. And what was the name of the elf that tortured Legolas, and his mate that was killled? Did they also have something to do with the plot, or were they just victims?

I'm very glad you're making Talagan be a good guy, and admit his own share of guilt and try to make amends. I like my soldiers to be genuinely good guys:) And I think Thranduil needs a good role model, even if it's futile to hope that he'd follow his friend's example. :)

Thanks again for the lovely entertainment, and I can't wait to see this ceremony, and for the cavalry to come bursting in (aka Celeborn, twins, Erestor's bondmates, etc... however long it takes them all to join the fray!)

But it's just too good! Imagine my joy on discovering a new update!!!! However, I need MORE... mwahahahaha.
But anyway, on a more constructive level, or not as the case may be, it's an amazing acheivement. You've managed to create really sympathetic genuine characters and on a more basic level: what you've done with Legolas is an amazing feat of imagination. However, I think (still) he's been getting of lightly for a little too long and needs a bit more angst. Hmmmmm, however, please surprise me.
    Lots of love,
    Belty

I have recently started reading your story & now I can't lay it down. I agree with bonding legolas & berenaur! The dear Tawar is starved for true love & he'll get it from eraster. Elrond's heart is already given to his children. Plus, he wants to own legolas, not love him. Great choice!

Lies, plots, twists, turns, deceit, promisses, betrayal, love, and realizations, OH MY! (Not to mention, extremely hot) Just found this story and read straight through. Absolutely engrosing! I am not a reviewer; Rarely do I take the time. But to anyone out there like myself, who reads reviews in order to decide if a story is worth their time, YES! Definately!

    Hello,

lovely chapter! I like how you show Erestor's character making him seem very real. I can sense the love both the carpenter and Erestor have for Legolas-beautiful!
Thank you for a wonderful story!

Oh, my heart soars, meldis!. I just read chps 88-89 and They were SO good... I just *loved* the elves coming toguether to clean the glenn and ready a true abode for Legolas and Erestor. And the fact that they filled it with gifted items from their *own* homes and shops!. And then, in chp 89, the scene between Legolas and Lindalcon ( God, I can *never* get that right... ), To see Tirno's happiness at the loving prank.. Then the talk with his heart's Ada... Ah, Valar but you are one *talented* storyteller!. As always, I await the next installment with baited breath!!!! ~Thalionwen~

Oh dear! I'm afraid you put us all to shame... It's amazing. I have to say I've never been as devoted to fanfiction before, until now when an update gives my life meaning. (I'm ashamed to admit it but u've got me hooked) You have genuine, flawed and loveable characters. you make me feel complete anguish on Legolas' behalf. So please I beg you update soon! And even if you introduce more horrors for L, (especially with reencountering Elrond) can u please end happily and let him gain a family and recognition. Please, please, please. I hate those halfhearted happy endings when nothing is properly concluded (and let's not get me stated on sad endings - i almost cry at the thought) No! You must make it end happily - for me, your humble reader 'cause i'm afraid my sanity might depend on it. It would be great if you could introduce an Elrond, Erestor Legolas love triangle thing, with elrond discovering he's genuinely in love, amd a massive show down in public. Hehe. And I wonder what Erestor's bond-mates will make of L. Maybe you could have them meet in some seriously incriminating circumstances where Legolas doesn't know who they are and vice versa and they let something slip about Elrond. Hmmmm....At the relationship gets all convoluted. But please let them accept him in the end. Oh ignore me - i'm such a back-seat writer - I shld leave it to u, maestro. Anyway keep up the good work...

ps Can u please let Meril meet some sticky fate (preferable with Thrabduil realising she's evil) b/c I really don't like her... Oh, and Elrond too. If he hurts Lego again... Make him suffer! mwahahahaha

    Looks like I'm # 5000!

I'm hooked on your story. I love the way you combine vivid detail, politcal intreague and personal conflicts into a smooth read.
Letting Legolas get to know his half-siblings was wonderful. Thank you for providing much enjoyment.

Another heart wrenching chapter! I can't wait to see how you resolve this. Elrond is obviously in love with Legolas now and now Legolas has bonded with Erestor. This is fantastic fanfic, some of the best. I tune in weekly to see what else you have wrought. Delicious! Keep writing.

OOH! It is sadly going to pull that family apart, but it's Elrond's fault. I have to say I love Erestor here! And those poor twins...they need some loving...*raises hand* Awesome as usual!
