Do I feel better? *gets dreaming look in her eye* My legs are weak. Does that count as better? I just cant get enough of your Celeborn.

Oh since everyone else seems to think it important, here is my take on the hairdo thing; it wasn't just any run-of-the-mill warrior's braid, it was a braid pattern used exclusively by the royal family of Mirkwood, or some such nonesense as that. So not only did Sarnlass coif his hair in violation of the Rules and Regs, (nods to big tome) he outed himself as Prince Legolas.

Lovely chapter! Now that the battle action is over it will be nice to focus again on the courtesans' real duties. Though i fear there will be quite a bit more fallout from the attack, and perhaps other elves have been injured or *GASP* killed.

Celeborn seems to have a soft spot for Seldayan. Darling Sarnlass might find himself with nothing to do for a few chapters? Will idle hands lead to Haldir's talen? And a suggestion for poor tramatized Orophin: Why not try a different profession for a while? You say that Big Book of Courtesans' Rules and Regulations is about to be revealed? I can almost see Celeborn getting it down from the shelf, opening it, turning to Orophin and saying, "Are you sure this is what you really want to do?" Ah yes, my mind runs in so many silly directions.

"Unfortunately, the hill men were no match for the Elves they engaged. " I would say fortunately, unless you happen to be a hill man, then you are up shit's creek without a paddle so to speak, or running willy-nilly out of the forest.

    Wonderful chapter. More! And HURRY.

Exciting fight scenes; Sarnlass had a lot of fighting to do to protect Rumil and whoever was carrying him. I hope Haldir is somewhat mollified. Good that Sarnlass will get a little rest now. More story please.

"DARO!" A familiar voice commanded, and a fine blade of solid steel rang against his knives, holding his attack.
"MarchWarden!" Legolas gasped out his surprise and relief as Haldir's broad, armored form appeared before him, "Forgive me!"

I like this part. Haldir appearing like that...well he made quite an impact, so to speak.

Meep! You're determined to keep me on the edge of my seat here, aren't you?! Poor Orophin! What do I have to bribe you with to fix him? lol. Hope to see more of him and Rúmil soon.

Loved the battle scenes - I've just been writing one myself so I know they're not always easy.

So, it seems Celeborn is going to let the matter of the braided hair drop... good! Either that or you're being extra evil! ;) I loved the scenes in the bath... I really like seeing the softer side of Celeborn. Not to say that the battle-stained Celeborn that confronted the men wasn't very appealing too!

I look forward to seeing what happens next!

PS: I hope you're not taking all the sporkage to heart - it's really beyond a joke IMO!

I've contacted the moderators of AdultFanfiction.Net regarding the allegations of 'rape' and 'slavery', and will abide by their decision regarding my story description. If they concur that I have raped and enslaved Legolas then I will immediately change the description for "Fifteen Years" to reflect that decision.

I'd also like to call attention to two important paragraphs of the AdultFanfiction.Net terms and conditions:
""I understand that should I ever become personally affronted by (or no longer desire to view, for any reason) the content of this site at any time in the future, it will be up to me to depart AdultFanFiction.net, and not return. I understand that I will not be contacted by AdultFanFiction.net or subject to its material ever again, should I make this choice.""
    and
""I will never intentionally post anything solely for inflammatory purposes, actively incite flame wars, or behave in any deliberately disruptive or knowingly disrespectful manner towards any Administrator, Moderator, or Member of the AdultFanFiction.net community. If I do, I understand that I have forfeited my privileges as a Member, and that I have subjected myself to Account Deletion without warning, discussion, or notification.""

    Thank you.

If the warnings are adequate, "don't like don't read" applies. In this case, I don't think they are. I read the story on the basis of the warnings, and the underlying message which it carries still give me the heebies. "Rape and slavery presented as a good idea" would be an adequate warning.

If, commentators are attempting to claim that 'don't like don't read' means 'don't like, don't comment' it never applies. Publicly posted work can be reviewed by any passer by and they are not obliged to be as polite as "King Thranduil" was. Given the appalling calumny on his character in this story, I thought he was most restrained.

    Dear Legolas Thranduilion

Did you know that most slash fics are written by females many of them that have too much time on their hands. Most of what I write as Gabby can attest to his harmless fluff. I have even subject elf lords to the indingity of a pillow fight.... It was a ilss chapter in which I took fluff to a whole new literal level. I must say that the recent letters have made the review page more interesting than the actual story. As for the collar. I'm sure it's just an invention of the aurthor and is only a formality. A slave collar is usally attacked to a chain or a leash or something. Remember this is only Fanfiction. The author is not JRR Tolkien. and cannot be held to the same level as that literary genus. Just be glad she didn't throw in an abbomination otherwise known as a Marry Sue. People are not perfect and I think she portrays the merits and flaws of the charaters personalitys very well. One more thing do try and remember that this is Adult fanfiction.net. If you want something safe go read the kiddy section on Fanfiction.net.

Yes, a lot of questions... Especially since I read the whole story again the other day. And then it hit me that Legolas still has to pay back to Glorfindel. I had almost forgotten about that...Perhaps he could make a trip to Lothlorien at the time for the Mid-Summer Festival? I always thought a little Celeborn/Legolas/Glorfindel should be interesting... Oh well, I'll bet you have your own plans though. ;)

Thanks for getting Rumil out of that camp. Now we have to wait and see if they get safely into the forest. Interesting booboo with the braid. Seems only sensible to me to keep the hair out of the way of weapons and fires. Hopefully Celeborn has better things to do than to punish Legolas some more.

Well I was 99% sure you wouldn't, but I wanted to make it 100%! :) *Grins* You share the same opinions as me! Yay!

*Sobs* Poor Rumil! I'm glad he's (nearly) safe but it looks like a long recovery for him too! *Sniffles and sends another hat*

So, not all the Courtesans hide their identity, then? Seldayan obviously doesn't, if he's around his family! Which is nice, I think. :)

Lovely chapter, looking forward to seeing these men taught a lesson and the recovery begin! Hope Legolas doesn't get punished for braiding his hair either - I think he's more than redeemed himself!

Woohoo! New chapter! Thank you so much. I really needed this.

Is Legolas STILL wearing that braid? Heavens. That's evil of you. Making him run around with his hair braided, for all of Lorien to see... *grins* ;)

    Hi! Missed you too! ^_^

OK, I admit I skimmed through this chapter first to see what happened and then went back and read it in detail. lol. I think we're finally starting to see the 'other' side of Haldir - the Elf who cares about his friends and family instead of the arrogant and proud Elf of earlier chapters. Hopefully, Legolas will see this too - once things have calmed down!

Also, I liked Celeborn's comforting of Legolas - very sweet moment. :)

Aiiiiiiiiiiiii *please* let Legolas find Rúmil and save him! Honestly, my heart can't take it much longer! (Nor can Rúmil's I expect. lol) It'd also be very good for Haldir's opinion of him, I'm sure! (Though I will honestly and seriously beg you not to have any of them raped... major squickage there!)

BTW only one 'glaring error' - when Celeborn says 'I need you here' you didn't start a new paragraph for Haldir's reply. Beta in me shutting up now. ;)

Very much looking forward to more - want to see these men taught a lesson so that all these poor Elves can start on the long road to recovery! It won't be an easy path I'd imagine, poor things! *Sends Orophin a nice hat*
