The morning came too soon for Thorin. Lothiriel slept next to him, just out of arms reach in his massive bed. Thorin had not slept this well since before his journey to the mountain. He watched the elf sleep. The blankets pushed low on her back. Her body rising and falling as her skin seemed to glow in the red of the dying embers of the fire. Thorin smiled slightly remembering the events of last night. Her hair splayed out on the pillow, mussed and silky. Her long lashes twitched and her lips cruved into a smile as she slept on. Thorin eased out of bed not wanting to wake her and gropped for his clothes. He had just slipped his shirt over his head when Kili poked his head around the door.
"Thorin! I knew it! How was it? Was it just heaven? I always thought being with an elf would be almost otherworldly." Kili smiled and closed the door behind him. He was still in his night shirt.
Thorin chuckled and glanced at the sleeping elf. Then, a thought struck him. Lothiriel was his to do with as he pleased. This could be an oppertunity. Not only to amuse himself but also to help his nephew begin to ger over his beloved Tauriel.
"Well Kili, how would like to find out?" said the king with a wicked smile.
