Well, it took him a couple of tries but Gamling finally pulled off a proposal romantic enough to make Aefre say yes. I think "show up and wear what they tell you to wear" is excellent advice for any bridegroom! So Eadignes quit the brothel? Looking forward to the details in your next update.

I really like your character development. I try to not howl with laughter with their confilcting emotions, so delectable, so precious. That's really great work.

Well he might not be the most romantic of Horse Lords, but at least he tried. Boy in Sh!t getting better every time i read it. ROLMAO. Anymore sh!tty comments in the future I'd be happy to have to hold my ribs after laughing that hard again. Yet another great chapter Zee keep up the awsome work.

I don'tt consider it silly or fluff. You have done a wonderful job of examining the complex relationships that form between people. Love is a great subject because there really are no absolutes involved. I admit, I want to see a happy ever after in this story. You write extremely well.

This is great. It's one of the first LOTR fics that I've actually wanted to finish. You write extremely well and I love the mental dialogue.

ROFLMAO! I better never get pregnant then--I'm pretty weird already sans baby. With child, I'd probably get placed in a mental hospital or something!

Great update! I especially liked the story of how Gamling's parents fell in love. I like the tradition of sleeping with a Rider in his cloak constituting marriage, and how Gamhelm used it to "set up" Gamling's mom. I hope Aefre does decide to marry Gamling, they are such a great couple and I can't imagine either of them married to anybody else. Please update again soon!

Okay-you've got me in tears again! Such a sweet chapter. Love does show itself in many ways. As always, you've made these characters seem like people I really know. The dialogue (spoken and inner) is perfect. Here's hoping we find them wrapped in that cloak soon!

Sorry for being so impatient. I understand completely. You took me by surprise tonight i did not expect one so soon. I really like that mother character. I am so happy to read that wonderful story. You'd probably kick me for checking the site so often but i'd do it anyway. Thanks again but because of this one story i am completely addicted to fanfiction now. Really keep up the good work.

Of course, another great chapter. Strange as it sounds-or naughty-I can almost feel myself in that tub! You express all those needs and wants and feelings so well. So fun to think of Bruce reading along. I'm wishing and hoping to make it to the Gathering next year. The first was so much fun.

What, there might not be a wedding? But there's got to be a wedding! I'm like Captain Jack Sparrow--I love weddings! (drinks all around!) And you have got to admit that a Rohirric wedding party would be great fun.

Great chapter! Gamling's mother was extremely funny complaining about him to Aefre like he was a pesky ten-year-old. And it was nice to see G & E frolicking in the tub and then in the bed. They have been apart for way too long. I hope you update again soon!

PS--I'm totally with you on the Elves and Wizards. All very nice, but at the end of the day give me a Horse Lord or a even a nice filthy Ranger (I don't mind cleaning him!)

"I can use my soap. Not your prissy smelling stuff."

I can see his head twitching from side to side with that. ROFLMAO

    "Your such a man."

Does that not explain 99% of the male race.

    "***I see Gondor. I see. . .***
    SPLASH
"I know what you were doing." She winked and turned away. "Nasty man."

I nearly pissed myself. You know my husband did almost the same thing while we were bathing years ago, I responded similarly.

Keep up the great work. You've had Gamling's mother Shit her bricks I"m waiting of Afrè

Just read from end to beginning - or was that the other way round?

Love it - a bit of the reality of day to day life rather than just the heros 'posturing' and saving th world!

Ch 18: I so deeply regretted that Peter Jackson gave the singing in the battle to the Haradrim, and not the Rohirrim. One of my favorite chapters in the book was the charge of the Horse Lords, and how they were so grim and fell and they sang as they slew. Gives me chills just remembering it. Splendid chapter, echoes of Aragorn's speech before the Morannon (sp?), now is not that day. Poor Gamling.

Chapter 6 was hysterical. No surprise there! You always make me laugh.
